Question by Janapix14: Why use hydroponic systems? (for personal use)?
What are the reasons I should invest in hydroponic technology to grow my own plants/food ?

There are risks of bacterial infection due to hydroponic environments. I can’t really deal with that. Are there any reasons a NORMAL person would use hydroponics? (Besides the ‘cool’ factor)

Hydroponic systems are used to crop more on a small surface in a short time. The hydroponic systems can be simple but also sophisticated.
Furthermore you can grow food in places where before there was no food-production at all.
In a hydroponic system plants take up nutrients easily without the necessity to develop a big root system.
