Hydroponic plant food?
Question by pink_hair_dye: Hydroponic plant food?
I have been growing a piece of ivy in a hydroponic glass for months now and it’s reached a point where it’s no longer growing. I have Miracle-Gro Plant Food Spikes for my other plants, and I was wondering if it’s possible to use them for my hydroponic plant? Should I change the dosage at all if I can use them?

I would try a water soluble plant food for house plant. Miracle-Gro makes some that comes in small packages.

Your ivy plant will not continue to grow well in plain water and fertilizer. The system you describe, while sort of like hydroponics, is not truly hydroponics. Now that your ivy has roots, you should transplant it into soil, where it will be much happier and grow faster for you.
