I've been a "hobby gardener" for years. I'm getting ready to set up a family-size hydroponic garden on the back porch. I put this blog together as a handy reference. Hope you like it.

@fixed92 make your own for the same cost and have a 1000 or 1500 watt version with more light spectrum, hightimes did an article about the light spectrum, and what colors need to be there and i dont think the ufo is the best, but when you combine an LED light with a HPS with just a red bulb and a MH with just a blue spectrum bulb..WHOAH!! that would be the most monster plant, but nothing can compare to the sun’s light 100,000 lumens per square ft, but my combo come would close
it seems the 90 watt led produces as much as a 400 watt light…..
beware of cheap ebay rip-offs
anyone know off the top of their head how much one of those lights costs?

yeah its cool but still not worth $1400.00
yeah they seem like they would work good but i still dont see how its worth $1400…..i would still rather combining hps and mh for a fraction of the cost and get the same result…and yes i know they use less power and create less heat but thats nothing a cooltube and a digital ballast cant fix….but its good to see new technology.
i guess you didnt watch the video or you wouldve heard him say they make them up to 1000 watts.
these have almost no heat and they produce more bud then hps due to the all red spectrum
as far as mh just get one with blue led lights or add some cfls.
buy for homegrowers this is the best thing to help against police due to the very low heat it puts off. great products.

You tried LED yet? Seems to me the future, once you can rip my HP Sodium lights from my grasp.
that is with any visible light source the same – so you would have to be pretty close to the plant to let it have any light at all.
Unless you meant THIS exact light, in which case I imagine would be the same, except with more yield.

thtts crazy wit the adjustable spectrum but the ufo led is a bomb ass led light and i think they jus upgraded those and got bigger and more watt lights one covers 10×10
How far is the effiency of the light? even with HID’s they’re effectiveness drops over 50% after 30cm.
not only that! you can trip out on that shit! Hahahaha

LED, the grow lighting of the future, at least until Luxim plasma lights are made commercially available. Twice the lumens per watt for the Luxim and full spectrum from one bulb.
