    Should the water be exposed to light that way? I am a newbie but isn’t there a problem with the water turning green?

    whats up man i was interested in that 8 chamber but is that a dwc cause i need one to grow 16 plants about 3feet i was hoping 4 a ebb and flow with one resovoir

  4. @Potemtole you will if you dont paint it black… Hey thats a song! cool…

  5. Potemtole says:

    do you get algea with this setup?

    Hows the garden gonna die if theres still roots sitting in a bath of aerated water? Thats the way your system works with the roots in aerated water and no drip collar. Your basically saying that your type of system kills plants. I don’t want to argue with you. I liked the video and the comment was not meant to bash anyone.

  7. MaJahBlak says:

    @TheWebdrifter there’s nothin better about a drip system. i bet you won’t think that if the water pump goes out and your entire garden dies. dwc is by far the best hands down

  8. TheWebdrifter says:

    @brainwashedmc It’s much better to have a drip system where the roots grow all the way down to the nutrient bath and have a bubbler to keep the nutrient bath aerated. This is the way the Gen Hydro Waterfarm works. Great units.

    whats the fuss about hydroponics
    you can grow just as fire weed if not better as you can with water

  10. danantnap says:

    @daland216 roots will never strangle each other. they will mingle and intertwine, but never with any damaging effects….

  11. kandymews says:

    stoner baybe

  12. daland216 says:

    How long can u veg in that setup? with all of those plants would the roots have enough room and not strangle each other?

  13. MaJahBlak says:

    @brainwashedmc i wouldn’t waste the time doing all that.

  14. MaJahBlak says:

    @kandymews lol o.k? lol

  15. MaJahBlak says:

    @andrewski21 thanks

  16. andrewski21 says:

    hes just using a clear bottle so you can see his example…

  17. BinaryReaper says:

    Ahh…won’t using the clear plastic bottle allow algae to grow in there?

  18. XtcRaver420 says:

    Generally you would want to start in cloning trays, then once rooted transfer to your DWC system. You want the water line right up to the bottom of the net pot until roots can reach down further. Also, you want to have the seedling/clone supported in rockwool cubes or something similar. If you have any other questions, or if you still need some help on the matter, feel free to drop me a line

    hey i have a question i wanna do a deep water setup but im a little cloudy on some things…..when you first start the plants out should u put the netti pots in the water? and what do you do with the seedlings after they sprouted i wanna use the hydrocotons but kno u dont just put the sprouted seedlings in the hydrocotons

  20. MaJahBlak says:

    no thanks for asking

  21. MaJahBlak says:

    the pumps is about 15 watts

  22. nemesisjhs says:

    hey jahmel nice hydro….how long and how frequent do you turn on the air pump. I heard 24 hrs, in my country that’s too long energy is expensive.

  23. CaLiFoNiaGrOwn1 says:

    do you water the plants at the top with a dripper?
