Where should I buy/order simple good working hydroponic systems for a beginner that aren’t so expensive? Also Best place to find cheap High pressure sodium and metal halide 250w Light bulbs?

For the first time around I would recommend visiting an actual hydroponic store if it were possible. Even if you don’t buy anything, being able to see examples of working systems and the general hands on experience there is worthwhile. Three of the largest wholesalers that hydroponics stores order from are listed below. All these sites have a “store search” function that you can use to find a retail store near you, hopefully. Most hydroponic stores order from two or all three of these wholesalers, depending who is cheaper at the time or might offer them discounted shipping, so the same stores will probably show up on all three websites. Once you have a good idea of what exactly you are looking for you can start searching on the internet for cheap sources effectively.
